Sevilla

Seville was founded as the Roman town of Hypalis. Seville is about 2200 years old. It is home to a port that monopolised the transoceanic trade, and it was also a centre for the arts and literature. Consequently, the city is full of majestic historic sites that are popular with tourists. Seville has a Mediterranean climate. Summers are extremely hot and dry, with moderate rainfall in winter. The average annual temperature is 25.4 °C during the day and 13 °C at night. Summer is the dominant season, lasting from May to October.
